Chuck Tipton Chuck started doing instrument repairs first as a hobby. In the 90's he went into business as Tipton Custom Guitars performing repairs for local and regional musicians and music stores. Chuck's work was so good that Tipton Custom Guitars became an authorized service center for Martin Guitars & Co., Inc. of Nazareth PA. To date, Chuck has build 80 Tipton Custom acoustic and electric guitars. When Chuck is not building or repairing guitars, he is a studio musician. For over 30 years he has played on hundreds of master sessions in studios in Tennessee, (including Nashville), North and South Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
